Who’s behind The Yellow Slice?
The Yellow Slice is a small creamery based in Pune, introduced to you by Tarul and Salil, who met back in 2009. It was love at many first sights for them, just like one takes their time to develop a taste for cheese. These days, these two celebrate their cheese-y side every day, and their cheese products bring this love to your home.
What got us started?
We wanted to work on locally sourced and hand-made artisan cheese for Pune, owing to the ever expanding food scene of the city. We also love food and that’s always above everything. Period.
Salil brings his entrepreneur insights to the business while Tarul adds a creative spin to the brand. Currently, we make soft cheeses like Cream Cheese, Ricotta, Mascarpone; fresh cheeses like Goat’s Feta, Mozzarella, Queso Fresco and various aged cheeses like Parmesan, Gouda, Smoked Gouda, Traditional Cheddar, Swiss Cheese and also some mould-ripened cheeses like Blue Cheese, Camembert & Brie. Our love for food also encouraged us to introduce a variety of cheesecakes under the brand The Cheesecake Nation.
